Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Completion of examinations set by the Commissioner of Patents, Listed on the register of patent agents


Experience: 5 years or more


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Area of Scientific Specialization: Energy


Specific Skills: Conduct research, Ensure products and work methods maximize safety, productivity and comfort, Advise clients on elements of patent law and on the patentability of inventions, Conduct patent searches, Prepare patent applications, Represent clients before the patent office, Advise on policies, Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia, Report and document investigations and conclusions/recommendations
